Inkjet Cartridges

 
1. When changing new cartridge, the computer generate a warning prompt stating installed cartridge differs from original cartridge. Why?
2. After installed a new cartridge, the printer cannot identify and nothing can be printed. Why?
3. The printer is indicating "out of ink" signal but there is ink still in the cartridge
4. Why are there white lines on the printout?
5. What does the printer utility feature "Unknown" mean when using compatible cartridge with chip?

1. When changing new cartridge, the computer generate a warning prompt stating installed cartridge differs from original cartridge. Why?
 
Reasons :
- Warning prompt set by printer manufacturer
 
Solutions :
- Click "Yes" to continue printing using new cartridge
- Click "No" will be prompted to change another cartridge
- No influence on printing quality

2. After installed a new cartridge, the printer cannot identify and nothing can be printed. Why?
 
Reasons :
- The print head is dry or blocked or damaged
- The sealing label may not yet be removed
- Touching the chip on the cartridge by hand or dust on chip surface
- Chip on cartridge is not fully in line with printer
- The cartridge may be filled with air during installation
 
Solutions :
- Run the self-cleaning program (please read the printer user manual for details) at least 2-3 times
- Remove the sealing label completely to let air enter the cartridge for normal printing
- Use dry cloth or tissue to clean the chip and reinstall the cartridge
- Take out the cartridge and reinstall again
- Clean the print head and clear the bubbles by running the self-cleaning program

3. The printer is indicating "out of ink" signal but there is ink still in the cartridge
 
Reasons :
- OEM set the printing configuration follows original print cartridge
- More Ink content of compatible cartridge than OEM
- Printer prints exceed recognize pages, it will automatically prompt to change cartridge
 
Solutions :
- Turn the printer off and back on, printing will resume until ink cartridges is depleted

4. Why are there white lines on the printout?
 
Reasons :
- Air bubbles inside the cartridge
- Cartridge Installation not correct
- Aging or Poor condition of print head
 
Solutions :
- Stop printing immediately
- Run the self-cleaning program (please read the printer user manual for details) at least 2-3 times to clear the bubbles and clean the print head
- Reinstall the cartridge
- Replace new print head

5. What does the printer utility feature "Unknown" mean when using compatible cartridge with chip?
 
Reasons :
- Different date input on the chip set of compatible from OEM
 
Solutions :
- "Unknown" only for configuration propose
- No impact or influence to printer performance

6. The picture and words have not been printed with the sharpness than expected. Why?
 
Reasons :
- Wrong printing media chosen
- Printing media may be humid
- Aging of print head
 
Solutions :
- Word Document is recommended to use Inkjet paper and Images. Photos are recommended to use high quality inkjet photo paper
- Replace the humid paper by using dry paper and print again
- Repair or replace new print head

7. The printer cannot perform printing since it has not been used more than one month, however, it can print normally a month ago. Why?
 
Reaons :
- Leaving the printer not used for long time, the print head may be possibility dry and clogging
 
Solutions :
- Please clean the print head and run the self-cleaning program with cleaning cartridge 2-3 times
- We are highly recommended to use the printer once per week to ensure the best printing quality and  maintain the printer in good condition

8. When the cartridge's nozzles are blocked by dried ink (dye-base), how to do?
 
Place the clogged cartridge into the dish which filled with warm water and just cover the nozzles. Immerse them until dried ink begins to flow freely from nozzles and wait for several minutes after dried ink flow out, remove the nozzles from the water and gently dry with soft tissue or cloth. Install the cartridge to the printer again and run the self-cleaning program to clean the print head. Repeat the above procedure if appropriate.

9. Can the clear plastic strip on the cartridge be removed?
 
No. This affects the vacuum within the cartridge and may cause leaking or prevent printing.

10. Will a compatible cartridge damage the printer?
 
No. All print-Pro compatible cartridges have been rigorously tested by our quality control department to ensure no printer damage will occur.

11. Will a compatible cartridge print the same amount as an OEM cartridge?
 
Print-Pro compatible cartridge will print at least the same amount, and in normal condition more than OEM cartridge. On most new printer models the software in the printer dictates how much a cartridge can print. The compatible cartridges are designed to print the correct quantities where the printer dictates.

12. Can use an OEM cartridge once after used a compatible cartridge?
 
Yes. Print-Pro compatible cartridge will not affect the printer if wish to switch back to OEM, however, we are confident that once you have tried our high quality product, you will have no reason to use back OEM cartridge.

13. Will the climate factor affect the printing quality of compatible cartridges?
 
The best storing temperature range for cartridges to obtain best printing quality is 10 0C – 35 0C . If storing in high or freezing temperature for long time will definitely affect the printing performance.

14. Are Print-Pro ink cartridges exactly compatible with original ink cartridges?
